JASON & AMANDA McCUTCHEN · OUR PASTORS
MEET OUR PASTORS
Jason and Amanda McCutchen have served in church leadership since the early years of Freedom Life Church. In February 2023, they stepped into senior pastoral leadership.
Jason is passionate about teaching Scripture with clarity and helping people put their faith into practice. His heart is to see people restored, walk in freedom, and live out their God-given purpose.
Amanda brings a heart for families, marriage, and spiritual growth. Through teaching, mentoring, and her work in church leadership, she encourages people to grow in faith and confidence.
OUR STORY
Our church began in 2012 as Freedom Life Church. In the early years, we gathered in hotels and the Cedar Park Recreation Center before finding a home on Bagdad Road.
Founding pastors Mark and Carie Honeycutt led the church from 2012 to 2023. They then returned to Tennessee, where they oversee House of David, a recovery ministry for men. Mark continues in evangelistic ministry.
Today, as SOZO Church in Liberty Hill, our heart remains rooted in biblical truth, Spirit-filled worship, and a life of victory through Jesus.

ROOTED IN THE WORD
We are a non-denominational, Bible-based, Spirit-filled church. Scripture, understood in context, shapes what we teach and how we live.
The Bible is God’s inspired Word and our final authority.
There is one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus is fully God: virgin-born and sinless, crucified and risen. He ascended, intercedes for us, and will return.
Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
God calls His church to holiness and a sanctified life.
We believe in sexual purity according to Scripture.
Marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman.
Baptism is an outward expression of inward faith in Christ.
Believer’s baptism by immersion identifies with Christ’s death and resurrection.
The Holy Spirit baptizes and empowers believers, producing gifts and fruit today.
Divine healing is provided through Christ’s atonement.
We affirm the Apostles’ Creed as an expression of historic Christian faith.
